THIS is what greets motorists from far and wide as they drive into Greytown down Durban Street. Who cares? Well it looks like the municipality might!

See the advertisements on page five in today's issue headlined “Let's keep Umvoti clean”.

Property owners are warned if they do not attend to the upkeep and “state of being of the properties”, the municipality will intervene and bill the owner directly! That's good news.

The not-so-good-news can be seen in the second photograph of a section of the so-called pavement in Voortrekker Street — the municipality also needs to look at the state of being of some of it's own properties.
