WEMBLEY College welcomes the following high-school pupils as part of the Wembley family - Tino Manyeruke, Alex Mckie, Lonathemba Khuzwayo, Kaden Moonsamy, Sakhile Mzila, Sinenhlanhla Motsa and Sehlabi Rethabile.

B.E. camp to Hella Hella.

After a hearty B.E. breakfast we set off towards Pietermaritzburg. After turning off at Richmond we hit the dirt road leading to Hella Hella’s entrance and managed to arrive just after 11am on Saturday, 16 January.

After leaving our luggage in our rooms we were off to experience all of the great activities Hella Hella has to offer.

These included fuffi slides, row boats and rapids and rope swings over the little dam. We played Scrabble late into the night and our music very “enthusiastically”, resulting in us drifting off to sleep in the wee hours of the morning.

As B.E. pupils we have become “connoisseurs” of food (both quality and in the boys’ case, quantity) and it is safe to say the meals were second-to-none.

We spent our last few hours on Sunday rafting, sleeping and studying and reluctantly leaving this haven later that afternoon. We would like to thank Mr and Mrs Van der Merwe for organising another successful B.E. camp and Ms Steyn for driving one of the buses. To all the boarders, here’s to another great year ahead.
