Window on Wembley

RECYCLING is the main theme this year in the Wembley College Senior Primary Phase. Their play, Every Drop Counts, focuses on protecting our environment. This magical piece of educational theatre was performed at the Aloe Hall on Thursday evening, the 4 August.

Every senior primary phase pupil took part in this fun filled piece of innovative theatre and masterfully presented the audience with fascinating and interesting facts on how to save our environment.

The resourceful teachers and pupils redesigned old sets and props with lively bright colours, resulting in bands of colours forming the backdrop with cleverly designed plastic flower trees creating interesting focal points on the stage. All the costumes were old recycled clothes.
The quirkiest part about this reducing, reusing, recycling concert was bringing a packet of old clothes or toys as an entry ticket. Well done Wembley pupils, you the rocked the stage today.
