On Thursday, November 23, the junior primary phase assembled in the evening to celebrate our Grade Rs graduation and say goodbye to our Grade 3 class who will be taking the next step in their journey of learning in the SP phase.

The children put on a great show of song and dance on the stage. The Grade 3s compiled a slide show with narration to commemorate their years of being at Wembley.

It was very entertaining as the script was peppered with amusing anecdotes and treasured, long-forgotten memories. The Grade 3s spoke confidently and were a credit to their school.

At the end of the evening, the Grade R graduates brought the house down when they shared their delightful dreams of future occupations.

These year-two children in the Grade 3 class (Kayla Marais and Lerizé van Rooyen) put their creative minds together and painted a large portrait of agapanthus, which was on display on the evening of the celebrations.

This wonderful piece of art will be gifted to Mrs Corbishley, our number one supporter, for Christmas. Thank you, Granny Dot for always being there for us.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the children and their parents for their continuous support throughout the school year.
