INTERNATIONAL Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the start of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence in South Africa started on 25 November.

Greytown Child and Youth Care Centre joined in a march, organised by Actionaid and government departments, the aim of which was to tell the community “enough is enough”.

Ayanda Mabaso, Greytown Child and Youth Care Centre PRO said: “Joining in this march was our way of contributing and raising awareness in the community, because some of our children come from different circumstances. If we stand together we can curb this.”
