YOUTH Day was celebrated in a healthy and active way when Ndlovana Primary School hosted a very successful volleyball tournament.

With the emphasis on healthy living, the pupils were advised to refrain from the physically and socially destructive pursuits of drugs, alcohol and immature sexual activity. Schools from Endumeni and Umvoti attended this well-organised event.

THE RESULTS WERE AS FOLLOWS

Primary Schools
Boys

1st — Bangumuzi Primary

2nd — Lootshoek Primary

Girls

1st — Bangamuzu Primary

2nd — Kwelifuphi Primary

High Schools

Boys

1st — Samashi High

2nd — Sizwe Sithole Secondary

Girls

1st — Sebenzakusakhanya High

2nd — Sizwe Sithole Secondary

Each of the winning teams were awarded with a trophy and medals for the team members.

The Umvoti Volleyball Committee would like to express heartfelt thanks to local businesses who contributed toward this successful tournament.
