ADVERTORIAL Hillcrest Corner works up a sweat with weekly wellness classes ADVERTORIAL

2015-09-22 06:00

HILLCREST Corner has always supported a fit and healthy lifestyle among shoppers. While we could share a secret granola recipe or get an expert’s opinion on the benefits of juicing, we thought we’d take it a step further. From 3 October, every Saturday for seven consecutive weeks we will be hosting a range of inspiring free exercise and “mom and me” classes at Hillcrest Corner.

These private classes include yoga, thaibo, children’s educational classes and more. These classes aren’t only about exercising until you drop, we have something special for every family member. We will also be hosting “mom and me” classes which will cover topics such as baby massage and parenting-children educational games.

Each session will be facilitated by a professional instructor who will ensure that you have a fun-filled, effective session, so that by the time beach season rolls around you and your family will be slim, trim and ready to slip into those swimsuits. Our classes schedule will feature on our website from 24 September, so please visit our website to register for your favourite classes.

These sensational Saturdays aren’t only about getting in shape, there are also some amazing entertainment options for the children. Each week we’ll have a visit from special guests between 11am and 12.30pm, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Spiderman, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and other colourful friends.

We’re also giving away a free bottle of fun Minion Bubbles to all shoppers who spend R250 or more at any of our fine stores. Take your till slip to one of our promoters outside Woolworths or Checkers and they’ll give you a free bottle of bubbles.

After you’ve collected your bubbles and your little one is having a ball with their free gift, make sure you enter our competition. We will be spoiling our shoppers with mystery prizes which will be drawn every Saturday at 2pm. To stand the chance of winning, simply spend R250 at any of our stores, fill in your contact details on your till slip and pop it into our entry box.

Saturday is already the coolest day of the week and now it’s just became even more awesome. Make sure you bring your family to Hillcrest Corner for some fun and fitness over the weekend.

We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that the centre invested great energy into understanding the demand for centre shopping and/or gift vouchers. Following various investigations a decision has been reached to discontinue the sale of centre gift vouchers immediately.

The change will hopefully see our local community taking advantage of the broad range of gift voucher options available at the centre from a variety of different quality retailers - Ackermans, Bargain Books, Bob and Weave, BS Creations, Café Dulce, Checkers, Cherry Designs, C.N.A, Crazy Store, Dis-Chem, Edgars Active, Edu-Kidz, Entropy, Execuspecs, Flight Centre, Frame Factor, Heirlooms, Hillcrest leather and Luggage, Montagu, Mr Price, Musica, Nixz, NWJ, Old Khaki, OnTrend, Pentravel, Perfect10, Placecol, Red Square, Scoop, Sheet Street, Via Uno, Vida E Caffe, Woolworths. The Centre will gladly honor any vouchers already in circulation.

The redevelopment is continuing steadily and we’re really looking forward to the finished product.

“Once again we would like to thank our shoppers for their patience,” said centre manager, Bev Wilson. “We are on track with our redevelopment and happy to announce that Baby City and Standard Bank will be open before Christmas.” - Supplied
