ADVERTORIAL Spring blossoms as Hillcrest Corner continues to grow ADVERTORIAL

2015-09-08 06:00

SPRING is finally here and while the flowers are bursting into colour, Hillcrest Corner continues to grow. The construction team has been working tirelessly to ensure the redevelopment stays on track.

We confirm that Mr Price will be moving inside the centre to occupy the store next door to Old Khaki. The current Mr Price building will be redeveloped into two new restaurants.

These two new additions will improve our food offering and will create a vibrant evening atmosphere at the Centre.

We are currently ironing out the finer details regarding rental agreements with prospective tenants and will notify you as soon as these deals have been finalised.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be welcoming a new tenant to our friendly community centre in October. Tobacco Mart, a specialist tobacconist and gifting store, will be opening on the ground floor near Sheet Street. This sensational new addition will provide shoppers with all of their favourite tobacco products and will be fully equipped with a humidor.

The winner of the August leg of our Make the Most of our Makeover competition has been announced.

Terry Leeson went home smiling with R5 000 worth of Hillcrest Corner shopping vouchers.

There is only one month left in our competition and the winner of the grand prize of R10 000 worth of shopping vouchers will be announced at the end of September. Make sure that you get your entries in so that you stand a chance of winning!

Residents surrounding the centre have raised concern regarding the noise levels at night.

The landlord appreciates the feedback and the construction team have committed to reducing noise after 11pm.

As phase one draws to a close and the major infrastructure nears completion, the noise will continue to decrease.

As always, we will be sure to keep the community updated as these developments take place.

“Once again we would like to thank our shoppers and Hillcrest residents for their patience and understanding throughout our redevelopment,” said centre manager, Bev Wilson.

“Spring is here and the completion of phase one is in sight.

“We are incredibly excited about what the future holds and are looking forward to providing our shoppers with an improved Hillcrest Corner shopping experience.” - Supplied
