FOR the third consecutive year Curves have committed to support the PinkDrive during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Now under new management, Curves Hillcrest have reduced their joining fee and a portion will be donated to the PinkDrive.

New owners, Debbie Gironi and Cindy Stevenson, said that they will also be collecting pre-loved bras that are in good condition to be handed over to the PinkDrive for distribution to underprivileged women during their mobile mammogram clinics.

“Curves is committed to improving the lives of the women in the Upper Highway area and feel it is important to give back and support deserving charities like the PinkDrive who make such a difference in the lives of women across the country,” says Cindy.

Curves Hillcrest has loads of other exciting fundraising activities planned for the month of October including ‘guess the quantity of pink marshmallows’ competition and a club raffle to win a ticket to the PinkDrive Ladies High Coffee event and a Curves hamper.

“We will also be selling PinkDrive merchandise and have volunteered to assist the PinkDrive at the Amashova Cycle Race on the 18 October,” ends Debbie.

Drop off point for pre-loved bras: Shop 215 KLM, Oxford Village, 9 Old Main Road, Hillcrest.
