HEINRICH Schwartz from Eventus Investigations received information on the whereabouts of stolen items that was taken during a house robbery in Forest Hills last week.

According to Steven King, Hillcrest SAPS PRO, “Heinrich and the Shongweni K9 unit followed up on the tip off and discovered stolen items that were taken from a robbery at Homestead Avenue earlier the same day.”

King said that further information was received from the community regarding the possible whereabouts of the men involved.

“Constable Kwela of the K9 Unit and Heinrich followed up on more information and two men were identified. The next day constable Khwela received more information regarding the whereabouts of one of the men and he was arrested,” said Hillcrest SAPS CPF PRO Steven King.

Constable Khwela, Captain Neil Thaver, Warrant Officer Buckthorp, Constable Bheki Dladla and Schwartz worked on information given by the man arrested and identified the locations and names of the outstanding wanted men.

The man is being detained and more arrests will follow. “This has been a very good result for all in the Upper Highway area and specifically for the Forest Hills and Waterfall community,” said King.

On behalf of Secure Link and stakeholders these men are congratulated for making this valuable breakthrough, said King
