KLOOF HIGH SCHOOL is reigning as rugby champs and with its considerable success over the past three years, the school has left its mark on the recent Highway Zonal and KwaZulu-Natal rugby trials.

No fewer than six boys attended the Highway trials with two achieving selection - Ndumiso Mhlanzi (U16) and Travors Gumede (U18). These two continued their good run of form at the KwaZulu-Natal trials, Ndumiso reaching the final round and Travors being selected to start at number 8 for the KZN Academy side in the upcoming academy week.

The success of these two further highlights the good work that the school is doing in both rugby and sport in general. The schooland#039;s co-curricular structures and backing by school management are most certainly paying dividends and itand#039;s not only the pupils are achieving great things - 1st XV coach, Mr Jeremy McLaren, has again been appointed as a KZN U16 (Grant Khomo) coach, this time in the role of head coach
