Next of kin required for body found

HILLCREST detectives are looking for the relatives of an unknown black male about 40 who was knocked by a motor vehicle on the freeway on 11 June.

Hillcrest SAPS communications officer Constable N. Manqele said on Thursday 11 June, the police attended an accident on the M13 after the Marianhill toll plaza going towards Pietermaritzburg. Upon arrival they found the body of the unknown male with multiple injuries.

“A case of culpable homicide was reported to Hillcrest police station for further investigation and the body was transferred to Pinetown mortuary for examination.”
