THE Kloof and Highway SPCA were thrilled to say goodbye to a female tortoiseshell kitten that was adopted last week after being rescued from death.

The kitten was rescued by Kloof and Highway SPCA’s Inspector Petros Simamane and Pumlani Zondi on 20 October. Simamane and Zondi were so determined to get the kitten out unharmed, that it took them more than 30 minutes to get her out of a storm-water drain.

Lisa Gadd SPCA outreach officer said: “Thank you to Debbie Peacock and family for opening your hearts to this special girl and adopting her from the Kloof and Highway SPCA.” - Supplied.
