SPCA welcomes support

EARLIER in the year Gelofte School participated in the SPCA Valentine’s Day campaign by taking the “We love what change can do” change cans and assisting the SPCA in selling the Valentine’s chokers and bracelets. The school managed to raise R1 000 for the Kloof and Highway SPCA.

Last week, some pupils from Gelofte visited the Kloof and Highway SPCA accompanied by one of the teachers, Louise Adendorff. The SPCA education officer, Thando Ndlovu, gave the pupils a talk on the importance of animal welfare.

The SPCA would like to thank Gelofte School for their generous donation and incredible support. The continuous support the SPCA receives from the local schools is amazing and makes a difference to the animals in their care. Gelofte is continuing with the change can collects
