Snare kills dogs continued on page 3

THE Kloof and Highway SPCA are warning Upper Highway residents against the use of snares, as many dogs are being killed by these traps.

If residents are caught using these they could be fined or imprisoned.

The most recent incident occurred last week when the SPCA received a call from a concerned resident, who reported that he had heard a dog crying in the valley in the Molweni area near his home.

Inspector Cassi MacDonald, trainee inspector Pamela Zondi and Sydney Nkomo went to the area where they met Alaine Crawford, another concerned resident, who had been searching with his dog Isis, since Thursday night
