FOCUS on iThemba is a 41-acre place of hope based in Hillcrest, which provides quality holistic education to previously disadvantaged children. Hillcrest Corner had the privilege of paying them a visit, to donate delicious Easter Eggs to the children.

Focus on iThemba is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) rooted in growing hearts and minds from an early age. Believing in the power of Education and Early Childhood Development (ECD), Focus on iThemba is currently working alongside eight crèches in the Valley of 1000 Hills to ensure that tomorrow’s generation gets the best head start. With the help of the community, friends and donors, the team is made up of dedicated, kind and passionate individuals, who believe that every child deserves a chance to have a bright future.

One of the teachers said: “Thank you very much Hillcrest Corner, you have made each and every child smile”

Hillcrest Corner was deeply inspired by the beautiful children at two of the crèches, Entokozweni Crèche and Siyabaphephisa Crèche that Focus on iThemba partners with and also by the selfless and life changing work the team performs on a daily basis. Hillcrest Corner enjoyed meeting all the children and loved seeing the excitement on their faces when they received the Easter egg donations and looks forward to seeing them again.
