A MAN, believed to be in his 20s, was seriously injured last week when he crashed his motor car into a light pole on Inanda Road in Hillcrest.

ER24 paramedics and the Gillitts Fire Services, arrived on the scene to find the vehicle against a pole on the side of the road. The lone occupant was found lying outside of his vehicle.

“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained a head injury and was in a serious condition.

The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to RK Khan Hospital” said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
