HILLCREST Primary School pupils celebrated their Heritage by dressing in their traditional outfits and sharing information with their fellow pupils and teachers last week.

Jaideep Singh from grade 6 celebrated his Sikh heritage in a blue and orange traditional outfit, Razeen Suleman grade 4 celebrated his Muslim heritage with a kurta, Rishi Shukla grade 6 showed off his Indian heritage in a red and blue kurta, Trisha Singh Grade 7 celebrated her Indian heritage in a panjabi. In her beautiful traditional dress was Luyanda Majola from grade 7 and Mfanelo Ndlovu from grade 5 in a Big Chief Traditional who were celebrating their Zulu culture, as well as Hannah Redman grade 6 and Jordan Colls grade 5 both holding the South African flag as a symbol of the South African heritage.
