THE Upper Highway community was outraged when the Durban Magistrate’s Court granted Baby Siwaphiwe’s mother and her lover R1 000 bail, after staging the child’s kidnap.
According to police sources there were many inconsistencies in investigations and police eventually set up a roadblock in Mariannhill where three people, including the 34-year-old biological mother of the baby, another woman, and a man, were arrested. The Fever asked people what they thought of the situation.
