ON Friday morning residents of Forest Hills 1 gathered in solidarity to object to the Cell Tower proposed for their area.

According to residents, they have put up signs on 163 homes which are objecting to the tower, however during the night the signs are destroyed by unknown culprits.

“We are tired of our objections not being heard and it is frustrating that our signs are being removed without our permission. We have now put up a sign which will be monitored by a CCTV camera so it cannot removed,” said the resident.

“We are hoping that the company responsible for the tower will consider our pleas as we do not want a tower in our area.”
