Comrades Ice ID bracelet benefits a charity

2017-04-11 06:00

COMRADES Marathon runners and supporters have been urged to contribute to charitable fund-raising by purchasing their personalised Comrades Ice ID Bracelet. 25% of the retail price of this Ice ID will be donated to the Comrades Marathon’s Charity Drive, benefitting the nation-building activities of the various charities.

The six official Comrades Charities are the Community Chest of Durban and Pietermaritzburg, PinkDrive, Sports Trust, Starfish Greathearts Foundation, Wildlands Conservation Trust and World Vision South Africa.

The ICE ID Bracelet is a professional, all road, all terrain, all weather, all day medical accessory with the runner’s well-being in mind.

The silicone strap is flexible and waterproof with the curved stainless steel tag that wraps around the wrist offering the ultimate comfort. The strap can be cut to size. Due to its durable stainless steel and silicone make-up, this product is tough enough to handle the gruelling Comrades Marathon and trail run alike.

The double catch clasp (tag) ensures the bracelet is secure enough to not just open up or fall off. The tag allows for six lines of laser engraving for all the runner’s In Case of an Emergency information.
The following vital information is re-commended for engraving on the bracelet tag:

Line 1: Name and surname

Line 2: Emergency contact number (no need to include a name as the number will be sufficient in the case of an emergency)

Line 3: Second emergency contact number

Line 4: Medical aid company and number (i.e: Bonitas 1234567)

Line 5: Any allergies or medication

Line 6: You do not need to complete this line, but it is available if you have more info to include

Please double check your engraving capturing for spelling errors and data accuracy before pushing the submit order button.
