SA Cares, a division of SA Community Crime Watch, is urging the community to assist a little boy who is in desperate need of help.

According to founder Steven King the child was involved in a terrible accident at a birthday party recently which left him severely injured on his abdominal area.

King said that the family is in desperate need of funds due to medical expenses.

“The boy’s mom booked the operation for the 21 June and the medical bills have amounted to well over R55 000.

“The operation required the child’s hernia being removed, his stomach muscles re-attached and his keloids removed as well as a new belly button as he did not have one.

“The family is in desperate need of help as the bills keep adding up,” he said.

King is urging the community to assist the child with donations.
