THE Mushroom Farm is one of Hillcrest’s hidden gems, offering something for everyone - from kiddies to campers, moms, animal lovers and everyone in-between

Just off the M13 and around the corner from Hillcrest Private Hospital, The Mushroom Farm must surely be the most relaxed shopping experience in the Upper Highway, with a country charm that harks back to the days when Assagay was tucked away, off the beaten track. But don’t be fooled by the rural feel! There are very few things on your grocery list that you can’t find here.

Family owned and run, this little oasis has literally mushroomed since 2012 when the Aitkens took over, with 19 tenants and a loyal following, who probably hate the thought of others finding out about their favourite spot.

So, what are you waiting for?

The Mushroom farm based at 450 Kassier road, Assagay will be holding their Christmas Market this coming Friday the 11 December 2015 from 4pm to 8pm.

The venue is set once again for a shopping experience of a lifetime. There will be a covered craft market, delicious food stalls, craft beer, live music as well as fire dancers and a jumping castle. Father Christmas will be making an appearance for the kids.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the family, tick of your Christmas list, treat yourselves and your loved ones to something special. - The Crest
