MADSEN Hockey Academy in association with Giba Plays, launched one of the first inflatable sports fields last Friday, at St Mary’s Astroturf, Kloof.

The sports field can be used for fun, high intensity hockey or soccer mini games, and is played on grass, artificial turf and the beach. It is played in teams of three to eight players, goals are scored from anywhere and matches are short.

The inflatable field will be used for outreach programmes, community festivals, tournaments, school events and party hire.
