UPPER Highway resident Nomfundo Mthethwa played a key role at the recent Women’s Lifestyle Expo, brought to you by FMI held at Montecasino, as she represented the official expo charity the LEARN Project.

Mthethwa, who is pictured below, has been involved with the LEARN Project for three years after they visited the school she teaches at, Kasturba Gandhi Primary School in Bhambayi, Inanda.

The school ended up winning first place in the School Library Excellence Award from the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education three years ago.

Mthethwa has been teaching at the school for four years and is the school librarian and HOD.
