MANDY’S pledged to donate R2 from each 100ml and 200ml Mandy’s Hair Removal Lotion purchased during October 2015 to the PinkDrive and recently presented them with a cheque for R25 000 at their Durban-based head office.

PinkDrive is a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) powering South Africa’s first mobile PinkDrive Mammography Unit and PinkDrive Educational Unit through our country, driving home the fact that ‘Early Detection Saves Lives’.

In line with their support of the PinkDrive, Mandy’s also held an informative breast cancer awareness corporate wellness day for their female staff members. PinkDrive Sister, Liz Book, attended and provided clinical breast examinations and gave breast health training to all the ladies who were also given educational literature in their vernacular to take home.

Mandy’s marketing manager, Robyn Goldschmidt, explained that Mandy’s is passionate about women’s health.
“As a female focused brand, Mandy’s are proud to be able to support the PinkDrive and the wonderful work they do in providing much needed breast health services.
“We are equally proud to have played a part in educating our staff on breast health and the importance of early detection.”
