JOHN Wesley School in Pinetown recently held its Open Day for the little ones. There were smiles and cries when parents left the pupils for their first day of school.

According to John Wesley Spokesperson Lilian Corden-Lloyd said John Wesley School is a Methodist Christian school that strives to offer an exceptional education programme to the community. The school is situated on ten acres of parkland, originally called Pineholme, and is currently attended by just over 597 pupils.

John Wesley’s spokesperson Lilian Corden-Lloyd said: “John Wesley School has a strong team supported by the Board of Governors, parents and staff who all share a commitment to the children and their wellbeing. We encourage parents to share responsibility for their children’s education, and we look forward to a happy partnership with you and your family. John Wesley School is Christian, co-educational, independent and affordable.” Prospective parents are urged to register their children early for 2018, as the Grade R and Grade 1 classes fill up fast.” Applications for 2018 open on Wednesday 1 March.
