EXCITEMENT was written all over their faces when they collected their matric statements.
Pinetown Girls’ High Grade 12 pupil Deborah Mzimela from KwaNdengezi said it was a long wait.
“We waited a long time for our results and when I saw my [details] in the newspaper I screamed for joy.
“Now that I have passed I want to do a diploma in teaching. I like to teach people new things and I will be doing it for love, not money.”
Nobile Mbeje from Caversham said: “I’m happy that I passed Grade 12 and my plans for this year are to study nursing because I love helping people and taking care of them.”
Melisa Makhaya from Clermont said she wants to study civil law.
Pinetown Girls’ High principal Mrs C. Pretorius said: “We are very proud of our matrices and wish them well for the future.”
