LOCAL lip care brand, Lipsano, pledged to donate R1 from every Lipsano Pink 5g stick and 7g tub purchased during October to the PinkDrive and recently presented them with a R10 000 cheque.

PinkDrive is a public benefit organisation powering South Africa’s first mobile PinkDrive Mammography Unit and PinkDrive Educational Unit through our country, driving home the fact that ‘Early Detection Saves Lives’.

“We are grateful to the Lipsano team and their fans for their valued support. Partnerships like these allow us to continue to educate and create awareness on the importance of early detection, and in turn save lives,” said Janice Benecke, PinkDrive KZN Administrator.

In line with their support of the PinkDrive, Lipsano also ordered 3 000 pink supporter ribbons and educational backing cards, handmade by a team of survivors and community members that were used at in-store promotions during October.

“As a health conscious brand we are proud to have supported the PinkDrive and commend them on the wonderful work they do in providing much needed breast health services throughout our country,” said Shannon Matzner, Lipsano Brand Manager.
