IRON Gladiators 2015 powerlifting competition hosted by Highway Iron Powerlifting Club will be taking place at The Watercrest Mall in Waterfall on Saturday 21 November, starting at 8.30am and finishing at 5pm.

Iron Gladiators is a show of strength at its highest level with top power lifters competing to be the best male and female lifter.
A total of 55 lifters will be competing, comprising a number of world record as well as South African record holders

Highway Iron is now in its' third year of hosting Iron Gladiators Power Lifting in KZN. Power lifting in its purest form comprises the following three disciplines: squatting, bench press and deadlift. These are every day lifts performed in almost every commercial gym and are familiar to most people. These three lifts test an athlete’s overall strength and power.

Entrance is free to the public and people are treated to a real spectacle of raw strength and power. The lifters appreciate the support from the crowds on the day which motivates them to push their limits.

Watercrest Shopping Centre has thrown their full support behind the event with a number of the shops in the centre coming on board.
The event is family orientated and appeals to both young and old alike.
