Robbers assault woman in Botha’s Hill

HILLCREST police have launched a manhunt for two men who broke into a house in Mkhize Road, Botha’s Hill on Tuesday.

According to Hillcrest SAPS public relations officer Steven King, the men entered the house and asked the woman for money.

“The lady said she did not have any and they slapped her. They tied her up and put her in the bathroom with her four-year-old daughter,” he said.

“They kept threatening to kill her if she screamed. They then fled with two laptops, two cellphones, a pair Nike shoes, a torch and three gents watches.”
