AT the Golden Paw Society at the Kloof and Highway SPCA guests heard about its new education programme which includes the Pet-Pals Puppet Show and were treated to a poetry puppet show by Tersia Taskes.

They were also shown some special children in the community and schools who have made a difference to the lives of animals in the SPCA care and guests enjoyed a delightful show from the children of Ladybird.

Guests were addressed by key SPCA staff members who discussed latest news, activities and events coming up over the festive season.

The aim of the Golden Paw Society is to welcome supporters as part of the SPCA family and keep them informed about the work undertaken by the Kloof and Highway SPCA in terms of inspectorate activities, animal health care, the care of animals in our shelter, outreach clinics and education to promote the humane treatment of all animals.

The Kloof and Highway SPCA extend an invitation to supporters and members who care about welfare of animals and who want to get involved and/or join the Golden Paw Society.

The SPCA hosts a morning tea every month, on the last Thursday of the month. For more information, contact Barbara Laubscher on fundraising@kloofspca.co.za or 031 764 1212/3. - Supplied.
