TEACHERS, parents and children of Simon Peter Pre-School showed their love for their school at the official opening and “roof-wetting” of the pre-school’s newly renovated playground.

Work started on the playground during the December 2017 holidays, with the last touches added in the first weeks of February.

Parents and children spent a fun morning planting seedlings around the sandpit, with the children then allowed to show off their antics on the new playground equipment.

The event was presided over by Derek Huysamen, chairperson of the school, who expressed thanks to the Hillcrest Baptist Church for providing the new equipment and funding the renovations. — Supplied.
