SPCA needs you

2015-12-22 06:00

THE Kloof and Highway SPCA are desperately looking for volunteers to assist over the festive season at local shopping centres with the sales of calendars, Christmas cards and Christmas wrapping.

Last year the SPCA raised a substantial amount of funds in the various shopping centres. These funds are vital to help them care for the many animals that come through it’s doors every Christmas holidays.

This year they have five shopping centres to run and are needing help.

“If you can work one day or more – or for just a few hours - whatever you are able to assist with would be greatly appreciated,” said outreach officer Lisa Gadd.

The starting dates are from Friday the 11 December to Thursday 24 December.

“If you are able to assist, please let me know and we can take it from there in terms of which shopping centre you can help and the date and times,” said Gadd.

“I look forward to hearing from you.”

Kloof and Highway SPCA can be contacted on 031 764 12 12/13.
