TO mark this special occasion, a gala reunion dinner was recently held at St Benedict’s.
Guests included past pupils,
as well as current and past
principals and staff members, some from as far afield as Australia.
The school was established as Pinetown Convent in 1956 and and pupils from this foundation year were amongst the guests.
The school changed its name to St Benedict School in 2002.

St Benedict spokesperson Shareen Gould said: “There was much reminiscing and many
special memories and amusing tales were shared during the course of the evening.”
