IN an intelligence driven operation between KwaDabeka police, Pinetown Crime Intelligence, Metro Police and POP Durban six suspects aged between 24 and 37 were arrested for possession of firearm and ammunition last week.
One suspect was found in possession of three unlicensed firearms. Seven firearms, including 152 live rounds of ammunition, were seized by police. The suspects were all arrested in Clermont.
The firearms will be sent for ballistic testing to establish whether they were used in the commission of other crimes in the country.

The arrested suspects are appearing in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court soon. - Supplied.
