POLICE vigilance in Hillcrest has resulted in the arrest of three suspects aged between 26 and 33 who were found with 41 metres of copper cable.
Police were performing crime-prevention duties in Molweni when they noticed a white van carrying a load that was covered with a black cover.
Police then stopped the van, which had three occupants, and asked them what was in the back of the van and the occupants could not give a proper answer.

Upon inspecting the load, they found 41 metres of copper cable.

The vehicle was recovered and the suspects were arrested. They are expected to appear before the court on charges of possession of suspected stolen property.
