THE globally acclaimed Michael Jackson tribute show — Michael Jackson HIStory — is back in Durban for the festive season. The show is brought to South Africa by Showtime Management Australia and plays out at Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom’s iZulu Theatre from December 14 until January 6, 2019.

Michael Jackson HIStory is a spellbinding musical biography that takes fans on a nostalgic journey of all of his greatest songs. Hit after hit tells the story of one of the greatest pop icons the world has ever known.

The star of the show is one of the world’s best Jackson impersonators, Dantantio. He will be accompanied by a lively six-piece band, backup dancers, and a phenomenal lighting and effects team which will help amp up the experience for fans.

The show features 40 different customised costumes, 20 of which are for the Michael Jackson character alone. Over 100 hours have been dedicated to the lighting design, which makes use of more than 160 moving lights and over 2000 lighting cues, arranged to punctuate and enhance the musical elements of the show. Performances include Billie Jean, Thriller, Smooth Criminal, Man in the Mirror, Black or White, Bad, ABC, Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough, Human Nature, Ben, and many more.

Selling out shows in South Africa, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, this international success is a show not to be missed.

“Don’t miss this rare chance to celebrate the music, the magic and history of Michael Jackson in an electrifying show that has left audiences around the world absolutely amazed. This is the closest you will ever get to experiencing the King of Pop in concert,” says Janet Pillay, PR and Promotions manager at Sibaya.

The show takes place daily, including a special show on New Year’s Eve. Tickets are on sale at Computicket and the Sibaya Box Office. Visit www.mjhistoryshow.com for more information. — Supplied.
