Thomas More College celebrates

THOMAS More College’s 110 Grade 12s achieved remarkable results in the 2017 IEB examinations. With their 100% pass rate, 96% of those with a BD pass, an average of over two distinctions per candidate and an aggregate average of 70.8%, the Thomas More College community is celebrating.

The school also had 16 pupils achieving in the top one percent in 10 subjects.

Jemma Daniel (IEB Outstanding Achievement list, 94%, seven distinctions), Parusha Raidoo (IEB Commendable Achievement list, 93%, eight distinctions), Nicholas Leisegang (IEB Commendable Achievement List, 92.1%, nine distinctions), Kirsten Elliott (eight distinctions) and Tiffany Miller (seven distinctions) led the charge with 20 pupils achieving A aggregates and 39 achieving B aggregates.

“While we celebrate these phenomenal, individual achievements, and rightly so, every single one of our children is to be acknowledged and celebrated.
