Tips on how to make the most of your hearing aid batteries

2018-05-29 06:01

• Do not remove the hearing aid battery from the original packaging until you need to use them.

• Pay attention to the expiry date on the back of the pack.

• Don’t keep your hearing aid switched on at night or when they are not in use.

Open the battery drawer to switch off the hearing aid.

• Do not use batteries on which there is a sticky residue. This could potentially damage your hearing aid.

• If the lifespan of the hearing aid battery decreases significantly, have your hearing aid checked by an audiologist as technical faults in the instrument can cause high battery drain.
