KEEP Hillcrest Beautiful Association committee member Barbara Fourie, with the help of Eunice Barendse, spent days scouting the area of Hillcrest to find the perfect Summer Verge of 2018.

According to the duo, Langford Estate has a verge that is nearly a kilometre long and it is immaculate all the way, including in front of the estate.

“When we saw this verge, we immediately knew that it was the winner,” they said.

“Congratulations to Bryan Hart the estate manager, and Lee Schreiner and Simthembile Msomi of Supascapes, and Greg Setzkorn, chairperson of the estate, who together make a team that ensures the estate and its surrounds are beautiful,” said Fourie.

“Keep Hillcrest Beautiful Association congratulates them on their efforts at keeping our village beautiful.”

Fourie also thanked Richden’s Dion Langlois and Raul Lurie, who provided a generous hamper for the gardener. “It was crammed with so many goodies that Simthembile will be enjoying for days to come.”
