20 November - Hillcrest Bowling Club will be hosting a fund-raiser for the Keep Hillcrest Beautiful Association on Sunday 20 November at 9am. Dress code is men in blue and ladies in pink. Cost is R25 for the competition and R5 for mulligan fees. There will be a bring-and-braai after bowls. Lots of prizes to be won. For more information, email Lynn Templeman on roblynn@telkonsa.net

Daily - The Kloof & Highway SPCA will be hosting a microchipping clinic every day from Monday to Friday 8am-4pm and Saturday 8am to 12pm at the Kloof and Highway SPCA Main Reception, 29 Village Road Kloof. Microchipping is R240 per animal and owners are asked to ensure that dogs are on leads and cats are contained in secure baskets or cat cages when bringing them to be microchipped.
