RVCA Junior Challenge: bigger and better

2015-04-30 17:23

THE 2015 RVCA Junior Challenge is set to take place at Lower Point in Jeffreys Bay from June 13 - 15.

RVCA South Africa promised that this year’s event is going to be even bigger and better than last year’s.

Apart from adrenalin-packed surfing, the Spraymate Paint Jam will take place throughout the weekend. Spraymate will be sponsoring hundreds of spray cans for children to use on the spray paint wall.

Other excitement planned for the weekend includes the Saturday night boerie braai, as well as the Red Bull Paddle Battle competition - where surfers will have to sprint-paddle up the point and run back along the beach.

“We’re so stoked to be bringing this event back for the kids,” said RVCA South Africas’ Chio Kraak. “It’s always so much fun, and just to see them having a blast all day for three days is reason enough for us to have this event.”

The RVCA Junior Challenge is supported by Red Bull, Stance, Firewire, Futures Fins, Havaianas, Nixon, Rayne Cameras and Zigzag Magazine
