THE best junior surfers in the country will be congregating in Jeffreys Bay for the first event in the 2015 Billabong Junior Series presented by BOS.

The contest takes place at the Magna Tubes surf break over three days during a five day waiting period from July 13 to 17. The junior contest forms part of the third annual JBay Winterfest - a multi-sport and music festival set to rock Jeffreys Bay from July 8 to 19.

“We are stoked to have the Billabong Junior event included in the JBay Winterfest,” says JBay Winterfest organiser Koffie Jacobs. “Magnatubes is a world-class venue for a surf tournament, and we wish Billabong success with their event.”

The tournament has both Pro Surf Tour (PST) and World Surf League (WSL) points, as well as prize money up for grabs.
