Algoa FM hosts Big Walk for Cancer this Saturday

2017-11-02 06:00

ALGOA FM will host its annual 5km Big Walk for Cancer in Port Elizabeth on November 4.

The serious, yet fun initiative, raises funds in support of the local cancer organisations that offer support to cancer sufferers and their families in the Eastern Cape.

The 5km walk will start from the Lighthouse at the Boardwalk at 08:00 and end on the Festival Lawns at the Boardwalk.

All participants are encouraged to be at the Boardwalk before 07:00 as Marine Drive will be closed between La Roche and Admiralty from 07:00 to 10:00.

The entry fee is R60 per person. Enter online at algoafm.co.za. Registration and late entries will take place at the Lightouse from 13:00 to 19:00 on November 3 and 4, as well as on the morning of the walk from 06:00 to 07:00.
