Church to host country fun and picnic day

THE Jeffreys Bay Methodist Church will hold a Country Fun and Picnic day at the Twin Valley Estate from 09:00 to 16:00 on March 26.

Family and friends can join in a fun run or walk or swim in the dam. Indulge in bird watching, walk in the kloof or find a quiet place to sit and muse next to a stream.

The family fun run/ walk will kick off at 09:00.

The entry fee for the fun run is R10 per person.

Bring your chairs, blankets, costumes, swimming towels and picnic basket and enjoy a day in the country. Boerewors rolls, cake, scones, tea, wine and beer will be on sale and a cash bar will be available.

Delicious picnic baskets for two filled with mouth-watering goodies and a bottle of wine can be ordered at a cost of R200 from Annemarie at 072 195 3942.

The cost is R30 per adult and children under 12 enter free. Boards, on the corner of Suikerbossie Restaurant and the R102, will show the road to be followed to Twin Valley Estate. For more information, contact Jacqui at 042 293 2322 between 08:30 and 13:30.
