DA Minister of Transport and Public Works to visit Kouga

2016-07-07 06:00

DONALD Grant, the Democratic Alliance’s Western Cape Minister of Transport and Public Works, will visit the Kouga this week to address the deteriorating conditions of the roads in the area.

“The DA knows that without a properly maintained road infrastructure, the Kouga will battle to attract tourists and investors, and as a result will not be in a position to grow the economy and create jobs,” says DA Mayoral candidate Elza van Lingen.

Grand will meet with the agricultural sector and businessmen at the Boutique Hotel in Humansdorp at 10:00 on July 8, discussing provincial and national roads and transport.

He will meet with the various taxi associations and school representatives at the Boutique Hotel at 11:30 on July 8. He will discuss the public transport systems, scholar transport and state contracts. All interested parties are welcome to join.

Grant will end the day with a public meeting at the St Francis Bay Bowling Club at 18:30. He will discuss what a DA Government can do for businesses. All businessmen and interested parties are welcome to attend.
