KOUGA will be abuzz with fun activities and entertainment this festive season.

Locals and visitors can look forward to amusement rides at the Main Beach from now until January 7, 2018, as well as tactical paintball target shooting in Diaz Road from now until January 30, 2018.

Adrenaline junkies can enjoy fun helicopter flips at Blaauwkrantz Street in Jeffreys Bay from now to January 6, 2018.

Rock Lily in Cape St Francis is set to present The Song & Surf Music Festival from December 17 to January 6, 2018, featuring artists like Can of Worms, Red Tape Rion, Die Radio Kalahari Orkes, Albert Frost, Chris Cameleon, The Sweet Resistance and Arno Carstens. The 11th annual St Francis Sport Summer Series, hosted by St Francis Sport, is set to take place from now to January 2, 2018 - sporting a variety of sporting events. Budding architects can put their building skills to the test at the AlgoaFM and Capitecsand castle competition at the Main Beach from 10:00 to 13:00 on December 22. There will be a morning market and NSRI Family Day at Brander Street in Oyster Bay from 07:00 to 14:00 on December 23.

Cold water swimming will make a splash at Marina Martinique from 08:00 to 13:00 on January 7, 21 and 22.

Billy’s Beach, the music festival, will take place at the farm Goedgeloof in St Francis Bay from 18:00 to 02:00 from December 26 to 31. Contact Laureen Payne at 072 898 1001.

The annual Woodlands Dairy Kouga Multispsort Race, now in its 17th year, will take to the street on Saturday, January 6. The 15km race will kick-off a 06:30, while the 5km fun run will leave the starting blocks at 07:00.
