IS it a bird? Is it a plane? It is a high-speed trolley taking to the track . . . The infamous and popular Global Leadership Academy (GLA) Trolley Pro is set to return on May 5 . . . affording local businesses the opportunity to show off their flair for design and racing skills, while helping to raise funds for the school. The annual adrenaline-packed event involves Kouga businesses and GLA learners racing through the parking area at Fountains Mall in Jeffrreys Bat in a unique non-motorised racing event.Designs from the 2017 event included everything from a bulldozer, a shell, a dog bowl, a portable toilet, and a pink milk bottle, to a magical dragon. With a challenging racetrack, the competition will see a total of 16 teams competing. Some spots have already been grabbed at a cost of R5 000 each.
