THE Eersterivier Projects Organisations (EPO) is set to host a fundraising 5km fun run in Kareedouw on Saturday, March 30.

Participants will leave the starting blocks at the sport grounds of Paul Sauer High School in Baken Street at 08:00.

Apart from the fun run, there will also be various stalls boasting fresh vegetables, coffee, kebabs and household goods.

The entry fee is R30 for adults and R15 for school learners and pensioners. Entries can be done at the race.

The EPO is the only non-profit company in the Eersterivier area that strives to empower local people to make a difference to poverty and illiteracy.

As a non-profit organisation, they are dependent on residents’ commitment to assist them in empowering people.
